CCD
A Charged Coupled Device (CCD) is solid state
sensor made up of photo-sensitive elements (pixels) that convert light into
electrical pulses that are then recorded on tape or saved in memory, to be
extracted later as a video or still image. Most consumer Camcorders have one CCD,
professional Camcorders have 3-CCD’s (one for each primary color Red-Blue-Green)
that make color reproduction more accurate, hence images look sharper with a
3CCD camera as against a 1CCD camera.
3 CCD
CCD size also becomes an issue as most consumer
camcorders only have one tiny 1/6 inch CCD sensors as compared to a
professional camcorder which can have up to 3 - 2/3 inch sensors. Ultravision uses
camcorders with 3 1/4 and 3 1/3 inch camcorders, both of which are broadcast
quality. Bigger sensors do produce better and sharper images because of a larger
surface area. Number of pixels per CCD can vary from 270,000-680,000 for SD
(Standard Definition camcorders). More pixels (680,000 pixels) won’t necessarily
produce significantly better images than sensors with less (380,000 pixels)
would because of the limits of television itself which can only display a
maximum of 360,000 pixels, so although the camera might be able to see more
pixels, it has to be downsized to fit SD television standards. Footage shot from
a HD (High Definition with approx 1,000,000 pixels) camcorders behaves in the
same manner if shown on an SD TV. This is because images shot from a HD
camcorder were meant to be shown on an HD TV not a SD TV. When SD footage is
shown on an HD TV it would also not be as sharp as HD footage but upsizing shots
from an SD camcorder is more recommendable than downsizing HD footage to fit SD
TV standards. In fact, the same sensor size, ex. 1/3 inch with different pixel
densities (380,000 and 680,000 pixels) the more dense sensor would be more prone
to errors due to its smaller pixel size compared with the less dense sensor with
bigger pixels, this would also cause the denser sensor to be less effective in
low light situations.

DVX100A, which is highly regarded in the movie industry and broadcast
television.

CD
Proofs
Proofs are the downsized or
down rezzed version of the original high quality files. We only give our
proofs to our clients to make viewing much easier and it also takes less time
to upload and email these files as well. The high quality files will stay with
the studio. This can also be purchased by the client.
Digital Layout Album
Pages are made from Digitally
enhanced photos which are then collaged into one page. Also known as storybook
albums because of thier ability to convey the exact emotion of the moment.
Text and other various effects can be added. Each album is unique and given
particular attention in creating such artworks. Pages are also laminated with
a matte finish for protection. Album comes with a leather finish choice of
color and texture, magnetic lock and portrait frame on cover. Includes a
sturdy leather box for storage and carrying bag. In 2 variants the Book Type

Groom preparatory pictorial
Pictorial of the groom with family
before the wedding. Most packages include only the bridal preparations, there
is great value in the groom also having time to pose with his family before
the wedding.
Layout Signature Frame
It is a layout of a
photo/s in which a space (spaces) is left for signing of guests with their
messages, much like a traditional signature frame.
Layout Guestbook
While the idea of a guestbook
is not entirely new, with the advent of digital technology, we have
revolutionized the way that written messages from well wishers for the bride
and groom or debutante are preserved. The traditional way is to write these
messages in a signature frame or a paper based notebook of some sort. Each has
its own advantage, the signature frame is very pretty and has picture/s of the
couple and engraved lettering of their names, unfortunately it eats up a lot
of space and it isn't very portable, which is where the notebook type excels.
The Layout Guestbook incorporates the ideal characteristics of both, having a
nice and neat layout of the pictures with spaces left out for the messages of
guests for the celebrant/newlyweds. It can also be engraved with the name/s of
the celebrant/newlyweds.
Live feed during the ceremony2
Take your guests up close during the
ceremony with a live feed. Often guests sitting inside the church do not get a
good view of the bride and the groom. With a live feed to a projector, the
guests can see exactly what the camera sees, taking them closer to the
ceremony. We can also do a live feed on the reception of course.
Non-Linear Editing
Video editing for a long time has been
restricted to very specialized hardware and heavy tape machines allowing the
editor to run (play) on one machine while the other is recording, this type of
editing is called linear editing because you need to run and record the first
part, then the next until the video is completed. Non-linear editing on the
other hand does not require this start to end process because it is all stored
digitally inside a high powered computer. With this type of editing, it is easy
to incorporate effects with layering and animations either in 2D or 3D. Non-Linear
Editing is the most commonly used form of editing these days due to its powerful
capabilities and convenience.
Photo CD
Hi resolution photos from the event
are stored into a CD. In the case of Film photography, high resolution scans
of the negatives are made (approx. 5.0 Mega Pixels) and then stored into a CD.
Photo (Montage) AVP1
Photo
Audio Visual Presentation (Photo AVP) shows photos from the past to present,
where the photos are arranged in a slideshow presentation with transitions and
other effects. AVPs enable you to share snapshots of life with an option to
create dramatic narrations or share your feelings for that special person with
family and friends. Photos are arranged in a

voice over recording. DVD output.
Photo & Video (Montage) AVP1
Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) which
shows photos and videos from interviews and dramatical reenactments, etc. The
photos and video is interleaved with each other and together with musical
scoring perfect for sharing your treasured moments with family and friends.
You can also add your own home videos and share those intimate moments and
memorable events in your life. Includes one shooting day and one shooting
location, musical scoring and voice over recording. DVD output.
Studio Portraits
It is your option to have a
studio setup at the event/reception, if permitted by the venue and given
that there is a safe place where we can set up a full sized studio. Take
advantage of the event while the family is all dressed up, to have great family
or group photos. Expect a complete studio setup with lights and a backdrop to be
installed within the reception area or an area designated by the hotel/venue.
Get top quality studio portraits with the option to have studio setup at the
event/reception or use of the Ultravision studio or both. Take advantage of

SLIDESHOW of pictures1
Playback the wedding photos from the
bridal preparation all the way to the ceremony on an large screen while your

Hardbound
Album
The traditional hardbound albums are
classics. Being ever stylish and elegant. These albums have been used since the
70's. It is very well-made and comes with a storage box.
VCD/CD Souvenir
Turn your AVP or favorite songs into a
souvenir which your guests can take home with them. (100 copies minimum)
VCD/DVD album
Photos from the event are made into a
video slideshow complete with choice music and titles. Can be played on most
DVD or VCD players.

Give away a great momento of your
special day. These pocket sized portraits of the newlyweds is the perfect

Wedding banner
A 2ft x 5 ft portrait banner of the
newlyweds to comemorate the event tp be posted near or at the entrance of the
reception area to greet the guests. All Premium Packages include
one wedding banner.
